How LOCKSMITH24 collects, uses and protects your personal data, in line with UK GDPR.
Last updated: 31 July 2026LOCKSMITH24 ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website, our phone line, WhatsApp and Telegram-based enquiry channels.
When you call, message, use our request form, or use live chat, we may collect your name, phone number, email address (if provided), postcode or job location, and details of the service you need.
We use this data to respond to your enquiry, dispatch a locksmith, confirm pricing, carry out the job, and issue an invoice or job report where relevant — including for insurance claim purposes on request.
We process your data based on your consent (given by ticking the consent checkbox on our request form) and to perform the contract when you book a service with us.
Enquiries submitted through this website are sent directly to our dispatch team via Telegram, so a locksmith can respond quickly. We do not sell your data to third parties. We may share limited data with the locksmith assigned to your job, and with insurers only where you have asked us to provide documentation for a claim.
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to complete the work, and invoices are retained for the period required by UK tax law (currently six years).
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to ask for your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact [email protected] or call 07424 916279. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
